Katie Price is doing everything she can to ensure she walks again as soon as possible.

The former glamour model needed a six-hour operation after she broke both of her feet while on holiday in Turkey.

During a night out with boyfriend Carl Woods, 31, and kids Junior, 15, and Princess, 13, Katie admitted she was mucking about after a few drinks when it happened.

The 42-year-old jumped over a small wall, only to find a 25ft drop on the other side.

Her feet were completely smashed and doctors told her she’s lucky she wasn’t left dead or paralysed.

She’s been warned it could be as long as two years before she’s able to properly walk again.

But pals say the mum-of-five is determined to get back on her feet as quickly as possible – and wants to look good while she’s doing it.

Today, Katie slipped her bandaged feet into a pair of fluffy slippers as she wiggled her toes and shuffled her feet during a car ride to fit in some physical therapy during her down time.

A source close to Katie told Mirror Online: “She is doing her exercises morning, noon and night, any chance she gets, including any time spent in the car.

“It’s a great time to do it because with the risk of DVT, it’s key that she keeps her legs elevated and moving.

“Although she’s immobile she needs to keep mobile as much as possible – she’s determined to get back on her feet as quickly as she can.”

Her representative added: “Katie is being amazing with her efforts and determination to ensure those famous pins of hers stay in top shape.”

Katie is using a wheelchair and a mobility scooter to get around at the minute.

Doctors warn that so long off her feet will cause muscle atrophy, meaning she’ll need to learn how to walk all over again.

She’s been keeping fans up to date with her situation on her YouTube channel and on social media now that she’s returned after a short break.
