Giovanna Fletcher is reportedly wary about the impact of her I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! win on her family life.
The author and blogger, 35, won the nation’s hearts with her appearance on the recent series of the hit ITV show – so much so that she was named Queen of the Castle.
However, the mum-of-three is said to be feeling somewhat “overwhelmed” following her big win.
An insider told heat magazine : “Giovanna is obviously thrilled with the result, but she has already found the pressure quite overwhelming.”
They add that Gi has been “flooded” with opportunities since leaving the Castle but is concerned about the impact on her husband, McFly star Tom Fletcher, and their three young sons.
“She’s very happy at home and doesn’t want anything to change,” the source noted.
They also added that previous winners Scarlett Moffat and Jacqueline Jossa “have had trouble with handling the attention” following their success on the show and that is something that they say Giovanna is keen to avoid.
It is reported that Giovanna is looking to enjoy the opportunities that winning the show provides but “on her own terms” as she prioritises her family.
Mirror Online has reached out to a representative of Giovanna for comment.
The report comes after suggestions that Giovanna is set to rake in big money off the back of her I’m A Celeb success.
A source told The Sun: “Giovanna’s popularity went through the roof on Celebrity and after being crowned the winner ITV hope to champion her.
“Bosses had a meeting where ten jobs were mooted, all of which would be perfect for her.”
They added: “They see Giovanna as the next Davina McCall — she’s a great all-rounder and could work on anything from panel shows to kids’ TV.”
Is the author/blogger/broadcaster set to feature on our screens a lot more?
