Katie Price’s boyfriend Carl Woods uses her name as he launches business without her

EXCLUSIVE: A new business called Priceywoods Ltd has been registered with Carl and a man thought to be his dad listed as the directors

Katie Price ‘s boyfriend Carl Woods has used her name to launch a new company without her.

A business named Priceywoods Ltd has been registered with Companies House, but Katie is not listed as being involved – as she’s still banned under the terms of her bankruptcy.

Priceywoods is the nickname Katie has given to herself and Carl, and she’s even had it tattooed on her wrist.

The company, which is registered to an address in Hertfordshire, describes the nature of its business as “retail sale of clothing in specialised stores”.

The private limited company was registered on November 12.

Carl, 31, is named as a director of the company, as is a Gary Stephen Woods, born in 1962, thought to be Carl’s dad.

They are both described as an “individual person with significant control” which means “the person has the right to exercise, or actually exercises, significant influence or control over the company”.

It seems Katie is not listed as a director of the company because of her recent bankruptcy.

A person who is bankrupt cannot be a limited company director until the court lifts their financial restrictions and discharges them from their debts.

That usually happens 12 months after the date of the bankruptcy order, however it can take longer.

Last month, Katie remotely attended her bankruptcy hearing at London’s The Rolls Building over Skype from her five-star holiday in the Maldives.

Katie, 42, was on a romantic holiday with Carl when she insisted she doesn’t have a “lavish lifestyle”.

There were concerns that Katie was splashing out on expensive holidays and luxury goods rather than concentrating on paying off her debts.

But The Sun reported that she told the hearing “90%” of her trips are for business and that the luxury Maldives trip she was on at that moment was a “work assignment”.

The mum-of-five has been on six holidays since she was declared bankrupt last November.

She’s visited Spain, France, Turkey, the Maldives and enjoyed a getaway in a luxury cabin with Carl.

In a statement read out in court, Katie apologised for not dealing with her bankruptcy, saying it was because of her mental health issues.

She said: “It is a long and tense process but I feel progress is now being made.

“I can only apologise, I just haven’t been able to deal with these issues or in the right mental state to understand everything that has been going on.”

She added that creditors and officials may think her engagement with them is “too little too late”.

But she insisted the “progress is real” and she has now provided financial information.
