Strictly’s Max George ‘won’t let curse ruin romance with Stacey Giggs’
Max George and Stacey Giggs have been dating for 18 months and he’s so smitten that he’s not worried about the dreaded Strictly Come Dancing curse
Max George isn’t going to let the dreaded Strictly Come Dancing curse ruin his romance with Stacey Giggs.
The couple have been together for 18 months and it’s Stacey’s first relationship since she split from her ex husband of ten years Ryan Giggs in 2017.
Ryan famously had an eight-year affair with his sister-in-law during the marriage.
But it’s claimed Stacey, 41, isn’t worried about being cheated on again as she has complete trust in Max, 32, who has previously dated Michelle Keegan.
A source close to the couple told new! magazine: “They are very solid. He’s totally smitten with her.
“Everyone goes on about the Strictly curse, but she’s not worried at all. They trust each other totally.
“They’ve got a very good, strong relationship and she’s very supportive of him.”
The Strictly curse has become a huge talking point every season due to the show’s tendency to break up relationships.
Many celebrities go into the show married or in long term relationships, but are single shortly after the final.
But Max has already spoken about how smitten he is with Stacey.
“I can really see myself ending up with Stace,” he said.
“I always wanted to get married and I love kids.”
Max joins former Home Secretary Jacqui Smith, Made in Chelsea star Jamie Laing, EastEnders actress Maisie Smith, comedian Bill Bailey, Olympian Nicola Adams, actress Caroline Quentin, radio host Clara Amfo, Good Morning Britain star Ranvir Singh, American football player Jason Bell, YouTuber HRVY and Invictus Games medallist JJ Chalmers.
