Sheridan Smith says she’s finally writing her autobiography after being asked for years to put pen to paper.
And the actress is planning to spill all about the dramatic highs and lows of her career and her personal life.
The tell-all memoir will see the 39-year-old, who recently welcomed her first child with fiancé Jamie Horn, open up about her high profile relationship with James Corden and her struggles with depression and anxiety.
She’ll also address the tough time she went through while starring in Funny Girl on the West End, and what life has been like since she started a family.
The star told The Sun : “Been asked for years but never felt right — until now.”
Insiders say she was finally spurred on to pen her memoir after beginning work on her ITV documentary, which aired in September.
A source told the newspaper: “Sheridan finally feels like she can open up about everything she’s gone through after taking some time for herself while pregnant.
“It has made her look differently at her life and the book will see her bare all about some of the more painful moments of her life, which will shock fans.
“She has been working with a professional writer to make it happen and hopes it will be an inspiring read for her followers.”
Her spokesperson said Sheridan had been asked to tell her “incredible story” in her own words and that she’s working on something that she hopes to share more news on soon.
It comes after Sheridan admitted she’d love to add to her brood just six months after welcoming her son Billy.
Speaking on the Keep Calm and Kerry On podcast to host Kerry Ellis, she said: “I’d love to have another baby…we’ve already spoken about it.
“It’s hard when you start planning work, but it would be so nice.”
She added: “I never saw children on the cards for me, but it puts everything into perspective.
“Jamie’s dead-set on Billy being an Arsenal player. He’s like, ‘If we can, get him into an academy at three’ and I’m like ‘No’.
“But when Jamie’s out, I put music on and shimmy at him.
“Whatever Billy does, we’ll support him. I’m learning as I go along.”
