Sarah Harding ‘living with mum’ as she undergoes intensive treatment for breast cancer
The Girls aloud singer is living with her mum Marie Hardman to give herself the ‘best chance’ of fighting cancer
Sarah Harding is reported to be living with her mum in order to give herself the best chance of beating cancer, it has been reported.
The Girls Aloud star, 38, revealed in August that she is battling advanced breast cancer, telling fans that she was ‘fighting as hard as she possibly could.’
Two months later, it has been revealed that Sarah is living with her mum Marie Hardman in Manchester.
Devoted Marie is said to have been Sarah’s rock during the last few months and invited her daughter to move in so she can help take care of her.
A source told The Sun: “Sarah is undergoing intensive treatment and is holding up well.
“Being with her mum is the best place for her.”
Sarah opened up about her diagnosis with fans back in August after disappearing from the limelight.
Explaining her secret health battle she said in a statement: “Earlier this year I was diagnosed with breast cancer and a couple of weeks ago I received the devastating news that the cancer has advanced to other parts of my body.
“I’m currently undergoing weekly chemotherapy sessions and am fighting as hard as I possibly can.”
Paying tribute to her mum Marie, she added: “My amazing mum, family and close friends are helping me through this.
“I want to say a thank you to the wonderful NHS doctors and nurses who have been and continue to be heroes.”
She accompanied the message with a snap of her wearing a hospital gown and blowing a kiss to the camera.
After sharing her post, Sarah was inundated with support from her fans and her former Girls Aloud members.
Sarah had decided to speak out after seemingly disappearing from the limelight in recent years.
After a winning turn on CelebrityBig Brother in 2017, Sarah opted to live a quiet life – quitting social media and taking her website off line.
Her last public appearance was back in March, 2018 when she attended the National Film Awards in London.
