Linda Nolan updates fans on her cancer battle as she is ‘feeling better’

Linda Nolan told her fans she was “well” while she waits for the results of her latest scans after having chemotherapy

Linda Nolan has confided in fans she’s “feeling better” amid her cancer fight.

In March, she was diagnosed with incurable liver cancer.

The actress, 61, and her sister Anne, 69, told the world about their cancer battles over the summer.

Linda told her fans she was “well” while she waits for the results of her latest scans after finishing her chemotherapy in September.

Although she is “well”, the television personality shared she has neuropathic pain and she gets more tired.

In a new interview, she told FEMAIL : “Just this week I had a CT scan and I am well.

“I have neuropathic pain in my fingers and feet, and I’ve got no hair but I feel well.

“I get tired more quickly now than before.”

During the coronavirus pandemic, the Irish singer has been shielding with her sister Denise.

Always, Linda has had a close relationship with her sisters.

They shot to fame after forming pop band The Nolan sisters including Linda, Anne, Denise, Maureen, Bernadette and Coleen.

Sister Bernie died aged 52 in 2013 after a battle with breast cancer which spread to her brain, lungs, liver and bones.

Previously, Linda has voiced her fears this could be her last Christmas.

She told Bella Magazine : “I lie in bed and I wonder how long I’ll be here, if I’ll see my great-nieces and nephews grow into adults, or if this Christmas is going to be my last.”

Also, Linda shared her regrets over not having children.

She said: “It’s nobody’s fault I just left it too late.
