Hugh Bonneville looks unrecognisable as parades epic weight loss in chic summer outfit
Downton Abbey star Hugh Bonneville has showed off his incredible weight loss as he strolled through the sunshine in Hampshire
As Lord Grantham of Downton Abbey, Hugh Bonneville was forever tucking into rich three course meals in the ITV drama.
And he had the waistline to go with it in real life.
He also once famously said in a 2009 interview that his wife Lulu had said he looked “fat as a pig” when he returned from filming.
But it looks like lockdown has seen the time for Hugh to hit the gym and think about his diet.
The 56-year-old showed off his incredible weight loss as he strolled through the sunshine in Hampshire yesterday.
Hugh looked almost unrecognisable as he soaked up the sun’s beaming rays while on the idyllic walk.
Sporting a loose-fitted baby blue shirt and a pair of beige cargo shorts, the star looked worlds away from the actor who we have grown to know and love.
The actor, who has used a personal trainer in the past, first showcased his transformation on The One Show during a zoom interview but only showed his head and shoulders.
Hugh appeared on the hit show last week, to join hosts Alex Jones and Gethin Jones.
But viewers failed to realise it was even him when he first appeared, as the actor revealed his huge weight loss.
The Downton Abbey actor looked “unrecognisable” according to fans tuning in, as many had to double take.
Revealing his lockdown transformation on the show, he caused quite the reaction on Twitter as many noticed how different he looked.
The actor laughed off one tweet from a fan who said he looked “amazing”.
