PlatinumGames and First 4 Figures have revealed the first physical samples of the Scarborough Fair, which are the guns used by the protagonist in Bayonetta. On Twitter, the company showed an image of the guns on golden stands, along with a photo of them being wielded by the game’s Director and Writer Hideki Kamiya. The sample props give a rough estimate of the scale of these props.
First 4 Figures’s Bayonetta gun replicas are an official product that would suit any fan’s collections. The physical gun replicas include Scarborough Fair Parsley, Sage, Rosemary, and Thyme. The announcement was made in time to celebrate the game’s tenth anniversary.
The project was initially announced in July 2017 when First 4 Figures stated that they were working on a series of collectibles from Bayonetta. One year later, it was announced the Scarborough Fair prop replicas would be the first collectible to be released.
First 4 Figures briefly spoke about the reveal on their blog, including a very short 4-second image with audio.

Bayonetta is a hack-and-slash series developed by PlatinumGames and was published by Sega. The game first launched in Japan in 2009 and one year later on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in North America. The game stars a witch names Bayonetta who uses multiple attacks, from melee to ranged attacks, using her Scarborough Fair guns along with her hair. Bayonetta awakens with amnesia after being asleep for centuries in the city of Vigrid. Throughout the game, she recovers her memories and learns more about what led to the current events.
A Sequel, Bayonetta 2, was later launched in October 2014 internationally on the WiiU and in 2018 for the Nintendo Switch. During the 2017 Game Awards, the third installment of the game, Bayonetta 3, was announced. While it’s been years since the game was announced, the PlatinumGames has reassured fans several times that the game is still in development. The exact release date is not yet known.
As for future content, First 4 Figures stated in the YouTube comments of the Scarborough Fair prop reveal video that a statue of Bayonetta is in development. Overall, the Scarborough Fair props will be released first.
The pre-order for the Bayonetta Scarborough Fair is coming soon, but the release date is not yet known. Those who want to get the first notification of when pre-orders are available can sign up for First 4 Figure’s email newsletter.
