Demi Moore and Bruce Willis were a Hollywood power couple after they tied the knot in Las Vegas just three months into their relationship and had a second marriage later that year. They have always remained amicable following the split
Demi Moore and Bruce Willis had two weddings to remember.
They were a power couple in Hollywood during the decade in which they were married.
Swept up in a whirlwind love affair, the couple eloped to Las Vegas to get married in 1987 after three months of dating.
They made history when they tied the knot in the Golden Nugget hotel.
Later in December of the same year, the couple renewed their vows in a lavish second ceremony.
It was a showbiz spectacle to behold with Little Richard performing the ministerial duties on their big day.
Their love story came to an end in 1998 when they announced their separation to the world.
They filed for divorce two years later in 2000.
The couple remain amicable to this day and have three daughters together: Rumer, Scout and Tallulah.
Everyone was surprised when Bruce isolated with Demi and their three daughters for some weeks during the coronavirus pandemic.
Demi got very candid about her marriage to Bruce in her outstanding and honest memoir Inside Out.
In the memoir, she admitted she felt the couple both felt more strongly about having children than about marriage.
She wrote: “I think both of us from the outset were more passionate about having kids than we were about being married.”
Bruce was Demi’s second marriage in the limelight.
First she was married to Freddy Moore from 1980 until 1985.
