American rapper and actor Ice Cube has hilariously bragged he’s a “real Scottish lord” after purchasing a tiny piece of land in rural Aberdeenshire.
The former NWA star told his fans on his social media that he’d purchased a “piece of land in Scotland” and was now Lord Ice Cube.
The land is near Huntly Castle and his purchasing of it has technically made the 51-year-old a lord.
The video, which has been uploaded onto his Facebook page, appears to show the plot of land in rural Aberdeenshire near a ruined fortified house of Lessendrum, the Daily Record reports.
It is understood the ruined home dates back hundreds of years and was the home of the noble Clan Bissett.
The piece appears to be a wooded area adjoining the A97.
In the video, holding up the document he says proves his ownership of the land, he urges others to ‘get a piece of the land’.
He says: “Somebody bought me a piece of land in Scotland.
“It makes me a real lord, OK?
“Be a real lord like your homeboy Ice Cube!”
Describing himself as ‘the west coast war lord’ he adds: “But did you know your homeboy is a real lord?
“Yeah that’s right- a real lord.”
He adds that if people want to be a ‘real lord’ like him they should visit the company selling titles to plots of land in Scotland.
