Figueiredo (20-1-1, 9-1-1 UFC) and Moreno (18-5-2, 6-2-2 UFC) brought a superb fight. It really justified its status of a headliner and the title bout. The champion kept his belt following a majority draw, in which two of the judges scored 47-47, and one gave him an edge, 48-46.

In the co-main event of the night, Charles Oliveira (30-8 MMA, 18-8 UFC) posted his biggest win in his career, beating El Cucuy, Tony Ferguson (25-5 MMA, 15-3 UFC), via unanimous decision. Mackenzie Dern (10-1, 5-1 UFC) had a lot of trouble against Virna Jandiroba (16-2, 2-2 UFC), yet she would win via unanimous decision. And finally, Ciryl Gane (7-0, 4-0 UFC) kept his record perfect following a second-round TKO against Junior dos Santos (21-9, 15-8 UFC), indicating that he should be introduced to the top of the heavyweight division.
