Maisie Smith shows off chiselled abs as she hits the gym before Strictly stint

Maisie Smith showed her fans that she meant business as she worked up a sweat while training ahead of her Strictly Come Dancing stint.

The 19-year-old EastEnders actress flaunted her ripped abs as she squeezed in another workout session at the gym.

Having recently vowed to get as healthy as she could before taking to the dance floor, Maisie revealed that she was making firm progress with her fitness regime.

Sharing the steamy snap with her 723,000 Instagram followers, Maisie gripped two weights in her hands while she gazed off to one side while surrounded by gym equipment.

In the sizzling snap, Maisie showed off her trim physique and bulging arm muscles while she modelled a tiny grey crop top and gym leggings.

“I’m not tensing u are,” Maisie captioned the photograph.

Naturally, the gym shot was a huge hit with her loyal followers and the actress was quickly inundated with compliments.

“You work your socks off to achieve that. so proud of you,” wrote her mum Julia.

“I speak for us all when I say.. workout routine pls x,” begged another follower.

“Literally opened Instagram for motivation just before I’m about to get out the car for the gym and this was the first post I saw. YESSSS NOW IM MOTIVATED,” penned a third.

Maisie has been on a mission to get in tip top shape for her dance stint and revealed to fans in September that she had been making regular gym trips.

This week, Maisie rocked up at the Elstree TV studios for her first ever show rehearsal for Strictly Come Dancing.

Having already won the competition once during a charity episode, fans are confident that Maisie will go far once again.

Maisie has also revealed that she had previous dance experience and even frequently shows off her moves in plenty of TikTok videos.

The male professionals have reportedly been keen to land Maisie as their partner, although no official pairings have yet been announced.
