Wes Nelson has sparked rumours that he’s got eyes for Maya Jama after the pair posed for a cute snap earlier this week.
The former Love Island star, 22, took to Instagram to share a behind-the-scenes snapshot from a recent gig where he performed his solo single See Nobody for the very first time.
Wes, who split up with Love Island star Arabella Chi during lockdown, looked over the moon to be in the presence of the stunning BBC Radio One presenter, 26.
The reality star turned singer plastered a huge grin across his face while posing up a storm next to the brunette bombshell who blew a cheeky kiss to the camera.
Maya oozed glamour in a hot-pink blazer dress and she finished off the bold ensemble with a pair of trendy hoop earrings and an Ariana Grande inspired high ponytail.
Alongside the snap, Wes penned: “Had my first solo performance a couple days ago, smiles all round!
“Thanks for having me I had a dope time.”
After sharing the charming snap with his 1.6 million Instagram fans, it didn’t take long for admirers to share their thoughts on Wes and Maya being ‘the perfect couple’.
The singer was flooded with messages encouraging him to ‘marry’ the stunning radio and TV personality.
“What a perfect couple. How has this not happened already?” shared one enthusiastic follower.
While a second echoed: “Yes Wes! Maya is one of the most beautiful girls in the world. Even Drake fancies her!”.
A third made reference to Maya’s ex-boyfriend of four-years when they claimed that the Love Island star was ‘stealing Stormzy’s girl’.
“Yo, Wes just out her stealing Stormzy’s girl. You two would make an ace couple!”.
“Ah this is cute, but they are just in a picture together guys. It doesn’t mean they’re an item!” a fourth fan urged.
The speculation come after Maya recently admitted that dating a musician made her private life ‘everybody’s business’.
The TV star, who dated Stormzy for four years before their split last August, said in a candid chat that it’s ‘part of an invisible contract’ that comes from dating a musician.
Speaking to Madison Beer during a Q&A session, Maya suggested that it is expected when dating a famous musician, according to The Sun.
“I feel that going out with an artist, you kind of sign an invisible contract where it’s like, “This is this, it’s everybody’s business'” she admitted.
Following their split, Stormzy released a song about his and Maya’s crumbling relationship called ‘Lessons’ where he admitted that he regretted the way he treated his girlfriend.
