Vanessa Feltz has announced her new career venture after quitting BBC Radio 2 last month.
TV star Vanessa, 60, landed the new TV role with TalkTV less than a month after she announced her decision to leave BBC Radio 2 – after hosting the early breakfast show on the radio station for more than 20 years.
She also left her breakfast show on BBC Radio London, with the TV star hosting her final radio shows after covering for Jeremy Vine last week.
Now, after appearing on TalkTV as a guest on several occasions, Vanessa will now permanently host the drivetime slot from 4-7pm Monday to Friday.

Speaking about the exciting new step in her career, the Strictly Come Dancing star said: “The allure of a retirement reclining on a chaise longue while the fragrant Ben peeled me a grape was fleeting.
“While there are politicians to be tackled, fat cats to be flattened, scams to expose and Lovely Listeners to champion it’s my mission to breathe fire into the microphone.
“After an elegant sojourn at the BBC I am effervescent with joy at the invitation to unleash my hitherto hidden side on Talk TV.”

Vanessa, who joined a number of stars in quitting BBC Radio 2 of late, added: “I will relish full-throttled debate and the chance to have a personal passionate point of view at last. Even better, I’ll be at the reins of Drivetime. Lord what luxury!
“After years of 3.30 am starts I’ll have a show without an alarm clock involved. If I terrified Mayor Sadiq Khan so acutely he never dared set foot in my studio on almost no sleep, tune in to see what I can achieve on a full eight hours shut-eye.
“I’ll be on ‘The Talk’ at 9pm two-three nights a week too. Times have never been tougher and neither have I.

“See you there 4pm from Monday September 5th and have a good lunch first. You’re going to need the calories!!”
Vanessa’s debut show will air on Monday September 5 and she will permanently host the drivetime show from 4pm to 7pm every Monday to Friday.
It comes after the star, who also regularly appears as an agony aunt on This Morning, announced her decision to leave BBC Radio 2.
She had hosted shows on BBC Radio London since 2001 and Radio 2 since 2011.
Paul O’Grady also quit his BBC Radio 2 show recently
An emotional Vanessa said: “I knew I was going to cry. I have been honoured to share the small hours with you.”
“I’m absolutely heartbroken to be leaving as I know you can tell, and I will miss you every day with all my heart.”
Vanessa isn’t the only star to have parted ways with their BBC radio shows of late as Paul O’Grady, Steve Wright and Craig Charles all bid farewell to listeners of late.
After Love of Dogs presenter Paul announced his decision to leave, Paul explained in a post on Instagram: “The reason I’m leaving, because everybody’s asking me this, is because I wasn’t really happy with the 13 weeks on, 13 weeks off business.”
