From romping with Hunter the Gladiator to bedding ex-England boss Sven-Göran Eriksson, Ulrika Jonsson has enjoyed a colourful love life.
And the star – who turns 53 today – also once had a forgotten fling with Prince Edward back when she was a secretary for TV-am.
Tongues first started wagging when the Swedish beauty was photographed with the Prince at a garden party in 1989.
And despite spending two decades denying they’d had a thing, Ulrika eventually confessed all, admitting they’d fooled around.
Asked whether she went all the way with the royal, Ulrika told Piers Morgan’s Life Stories: “I did not sleep with Prince Edward.
“There were a few dates, a bit of a slap and tickle.”
The unlikely pair first crossed paths when she was invited to the garden party in Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire, by TV-am presenter, James Baker.
Aged just 21, a starry-eyed Ulrika bumped into Prince Edward for a second time at the theatre, where their picture became national news.
“James Baker was very good friends, and still is, with Prince Edward and literally said to me, ‘Come on, we’re going out for an evening at the theatre.’ Went to the theatre, and I got out of the car at the same time as him and we ended up alongside each other, and it all happened so quickly,” she revealed in 2009.
Sharing her shock at seeing the picture splashed across the papers, she continued: “I was at the station taking the train in from Slough to Paddington and saw my face on the front page and nearly fainted.
“I was very excited but I didn’t know what it meant. I certainly wasn’t anything more than a friend of a friend at that stage.”
The exposure saw the star get promoted to TV-am weather girl and launched her media career.
The Prince, 56, married Sophie Rhys-Jones in 1999 and they have a daughter, Louise, and son, James.
Meanwhile, 14 years later Ulrika would find herself in the headlines again, this time when reports claimed her abusive ex-boyfriend Stan Collymore was trying to sell a sex tape to the press.
The pair split after just nine months in 1998 when the former footballer hit her in the face in a packed Paris bar during the World Cup.
And when Ulrika painted her ex in a less-than-flattering light in her autobiography, Honest, he allegedly retaliated by attempting to sell the x-rated recording, believed to have been filmed during a holiday to Jamaica.
Ulrika took her case to the High Court and was granted an injunction banning the sale of the footage apparently showed the naked star and Collymore engaging in intercourse.
A statement from her lawyers said: “We note from press reports that it is said that certain material – principally a video recording but possibly other material – has been offered to various newspapers with a view to publication concerning our client.
“The press have declined to purchase such material for which our client is very grateful.”
