Ulrika Jonsson, 53, ‘squeezing in’ as much sex as possible after passionless marriage
The TV star said the menopause shouldn’t mean an end to great sex as she opened up about bedroom antics

Ulrika Jonsson, 53, says she enjoys sex more now than she did in her 30s.
Opening up about how growing older had affected her sex life, Ulrika revealed it had changed for the better.
The TV star said: “In my 50s my approach to sex has changed so considerably I have to say I’m enjoying sex now, whenever I can access it, just as much as in my 30s if not more.”
And Ulrika said she intends to “squeeze in” as much sex as much as possible, while she still can.
“I can’t help feeling that time is kind of running out,” she admitted in her latest column for Best. “I now have more years behind me than I do in front of me and I want to make sure I really squeeze in any bits of special loving I can.”

Then earlier this year the Swedish-born star had her first sex in five years, with a man she met on social media.
Ulrika said she wanted other post-menopausal women to know that they could still enjoy sex, despite the changes age brought to their bodies.
The Celebrity Big Brother winner explained: “So many of us hit menopause and we kind of give up on being sexual creatures because we think that’s what mother nature intended by giving us hot flushes extra weight memory loss and anxiety but it’s not.”
While Ulrika admits she has noticed her own figure change over the years, she is determined not to let this stop her enjoying sex.
“I may not feel as confident with my body as I did when I was younger but there is a real feeling of just wanting to feel that passion again and keeping holding on to that feeling for as long as possible,” she said.
The mother-of-four also claimed she was a bit of a “late developer” in the bedroom – joking she once had a “chastity belt”.
“I married – first time – very young, aged only 23. Settle down with very little sexual experience under my chastity belt and I thought that was life,” she said.
Ulrika’s first marriage to cameraman John Turnbull ended in 1995, and Ulrika embarked on a series of headline grabbing relationships.
She said it was only then that she realised sex could be enjoyable.
Ulrika said she had a ‘sexual revolution’ at the age of 27 after meeting a partner who showed her the ropes and that sex wasn’t all about the man.
