Tiger King’s Carole Baskin wears head-to-toe leopard print to DWTS training

Animal rights activist Carole Baskin has been spotted stepping out in leopard print as she heads to training for Dancing with the Stars.

The Tiger King star, 59, has been confirmed for the line-up of the US version of Strictly Come Dancing and is set to show off her dance moves on our screens soon.

On Thursday, Carole was seen heading to training in Los Angeles, California, donning a colourful floral-patterned top with leopard print, classic leopard print leggings and a face-mask to protect herself and others from Covid-19.

Carole’s face mask was emblazoned with cat whiskers and her classic catchphrase: “Hey all you cool cats and kittens”.

The Big Cat Rescue CEO also carried a knapsack on her back that showed the face of a leopard, while her long blonde wavy locks of hair were tied up in a small bun with a cheetah-print hairband.

On the star’s feet were a pair of loafers that were too branded with a leopard-print style.

Carole was flanked by a security guard as she heading into filming.

Those present also report that not long after she entered, so did professional dancer Brandon Armstrong, which could suggest he will be her partner for the upcoming season.

The animal rights activist was then seen heading back to her car dressed in a less extravagant denim jeans and blue top and with her hair tired in a side braid.

The news of Carole’s casting on the show comes after speculation that she would be seen on the UK series of I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here!, which were only fuelled further by comments from Ant and Dec on This Morning.

However, Carole had confirmed to Mirror Online that she would never taken part in the ITV show.

She said: “I strive towards veganism so there is nothing so gross in the plant world, for me to be forced to eat on camera, as to make for entertaining television.”

Carole then added: “The show has been criticized by animal lovers for the consumption of live creatures, and no amount of money would make me want to be part of something that disrespects nature that way.”

For her appearances in Dancing with the Stars, Carole will have to compete against the likes of rapper Nelly, actor Jesse Metcalfe, and Selling Sunset star Chrishell Stause.
