The second film of the “Downton Abbey” franchise follows members of the Crawley family across the Channel to France after the Dowager Countess (Maggie Smith) acquires a mysterious piece of property. ‘Beavis and Butt-Head Do the Universe’

It’s been over a decade since this dynamic duo’s last on-screen appearance, but Beavis and Butt-Head are finally back. In “the dumbest science fiction movie ever made,” the boys are recruited to join a team of astronauts, but wind up being left for dead in space after ruining the mission. ‘The Worst Person in the World’

Nominated for Best International Feature Film at the 2022 Oscars, “The Worst Person in the World” follows Julie, an indecisive woman trying to navigate her love life and career in Oslo, Norway. Lead actress Renate Reinsve took home the Best Actress award at Cannes for her performance in this dark romantic comedy.

In this series remake of Olivier Assayas’s 1996 film of the same name, reluctant movie star Mira (played by Alicia Vikander) moves to Paris to play Irma Vep in a remake of the French silent film classic “Les Vampires.” Hoping the role will help her reconnect to her craft, Mira begins to commit to her character in unsettling ways. “Irma Vep” is now streaming on HBO Max.

’90 Day Fiancé: Love in Paradise’
Discovery+
Five couples who fell in love on vacation reunite to see if their relationship has what it takes after the magic of paradise has worn off. The newest season of “90 Day Fiancé: Love in Paradise” notably includes two LGBTQ+ couples for the first time in the show’s history.

‘The Boys’ (Season 3)

Ewan McGregor reprises his role as Obi-Wan and Hayden Christensen returns as Anakin-turned-Vader in the newest “Star Wars” prequel series, “Obi-Wan Kenobi.” The show picks up 10 years after Obi-Wan’s apprentice turned to the dark side and became Darth Vader. Still grappling with the fallout from his friend’s betrayal, the Jedi Master is living in exile on Tatooine while keeping a distant but watchful eye on young Luke Skywalker.

This dark comedy follows an unhappy housewife (played by Rose Byrne) in the 80s who struggles daily with her inner critic. Her life starts to turn around, however, when she discovers the wonderful world of aerobics.

After three long years, “Stranger Things” is finally back. The long-awaited fourth season of this beloved sci-fi series picks up six months after the Battle of Starcourt. ‘Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers’

In this reboot about a reboot, beloved classic cartoon characters live their lives alongside humans out in society (think “Who Framed Roger Rabbit”). In present-day Los Angeles, the dynamic chipmunk duo Chip and Dale are still struggling after the cancellation of their show, Rescue Rangers. But when a former castmate goes missing, the pair gear up for a reunion (of sorts). Comedians Andy Samberg and John Mulaney star in this Easter egg-filled movie, now streaming on Disney+.

‘RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars’

In “RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars,” fan-favorite queens from past seasons come back for the chance to be inducted into RuPaul’s Drag Race Hall of Fame. This upcoming season will feature the franchise’s first all-winners cast, with past victors making a valiant return to fight for the title of “Queen of All Queens” and a doubled-up cash prize of $200,000. The stakes have never been higher.

Peacock’s latest limited series takes a deeper look at an 80s Hollywood icon. “Angelyne” explores the little-known past of the woman behind a series of mysterious Los Angeles billboards carrying just her image and name. Starring Emmy Rossum, Alex Karpovsky, Lukas Gage, Martin Freeman and more, all five episodes of “Angelyne” are now available to stream on Peacock.

HBO Max’s legendary ballroom competition is finally back. For the uninitiated: the show follows eight “houses” or teams as they compete across nine “balls” comprised of dancing, voguing and fashion-based challenges for a $100,000 prize and the title of “Legendary.” The first three episodes of “Legendary” season three are now streaming on HBO Max.

Sandra Bullock and Channing Tatum star in this fun, flirty adventure flick, which opened in March at No. 1 at the domestic box office. “The Lost City” casts Bullock as a reclusive romance novelist, Tatum as her longtime cover model — and a delightful Daniel Radcliffe as the treasure-hunting billionaire who kidnaps her.

Set in Dublin and based on the Sally Rooney novel of the same name, “Conversations With Friends” is about a college student and her former girlfriend who come into the orbit of a married couple. Complications ensue! Alison Oliver, Sasha Lane, Joe Alwyn (“The Favourite”) and Jemima Kirke (“Girls”) co-star in this new Hulu limited series. The show is from the same team behind “Normal People,” the streamer’s previous Rooney adaptation.

‘Star Trek: Strange New Worlds’

In “Star Trek: Strange New Worlds,” Anson Mount, Ethan Peck and Rebecca Romijn reprise their “Star Trek: Discovery” roles as Captain Pike, Spock and Una, respectively. “Strange New Worlds” is a spin-off of “Discovery,” and is set roughly a decade before the events of “Star Trek: The Original Series.” At last look, the show had a 98% critical rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

“Shining Girls” is an Apple+ thriller series starring Elisabeth Moss, and based on the same-titled bestselling novel by Lauren Beukes about a newspaper archivist who teams with a reporter to solve a murder case — and her own years-ago traumatic assault. If you couldn’t tell from the newspaper reference, the show is set in the early 1990s.
