During a new interview with Us Magazine, Tarek El Moussa touched on whether or not he and his fiancée, Heather Rae Young, will get married in front of millions of viewers at home. At one point in time, Tarek and Heather suggested they may tie the knot on TV, but now they’re looking at things differently.
While speaking with Us Magazine this week, the 39-year-old Flip or Flop alum shared that they’re currently considering not shooting the wedding. It’s a special day for them, and to share it with everyone would be a challenge.
El Moussa added that if there was a way to shoot the day and pretend the cameras aren’t there, then maybe they would do it, but it’s a “special day” for them. Heather Rae Young already shared the nuptials between Mary Fitzgerald and Christine Quinn on the set of Netflix’s Selling Sunset.
More importantly, Christina Anstead, Tarek’s ex-wife, married Ant Anstead on her spin-off show, Christina on the Coast (although they recently split up). Even though El Moussa and Heather are probably going to keep their wedding private, he did disclose some of the locations they’re considering at the moment.
According to Tarek, they’re looking at getting married in the summer of 2021. It will probably be a much smaller wedding, maybe around 100 people or even less, Tarek added.

As most know, this comes after the news of Christina Anstead and Ant Anstead’s separation. The couple released a statement earlier in the week in which they revealed they were going to break up. The news came as a big surprise for their fans, especially with their social media posts and public outings.
Thus far, Tarek hasn’t commented on their relationship’s collapse, and it’s not clear what led to their divorce already after just two years. It marked Christina’s second marriage following her relationship with Tarek El Moussa, which ended in a very public divorce.
As most know, their romance went down in flames before all to see. Christina previously claimed she felt “calm” around Ant, and she had gotten used to the ups and downs of life. She said the little things didn’t bother her anymore.
