Tamzin Outhwaite and Martin Kemp reunited as she made a guest appearance on his show Sunday Best – and they took some “nostalgic” snaps together to mark the special day

Tamzin Outhwaite and Martin Kemp have reunited 18 years after they tied the knot on EastEnders.

The actress was invited to an interview on the former Spandeau Ballet singer’s show Sunday Best, which he presents with son Roman.

During her appearance on the show, Tamzin, 49, and Martin, 59, took a trip down memory lane and reflected on their filming days together.

They took a quick selfie to share on social media which sent their hardcore fans into meltdown.

Tamzin shared on her social media: “Well that was all sorts of nostalgic larks.

“Thank you Martin Kemp and Roman Kemp for having me on Sunday Best and so good to meet Sara Pascoe too.

Martin played Steven Owen who had a turbulent marriage to Mel in the BBC soap.

During their time on EastEnders, they were involved in a string of high-profile storylines.

Some included Mel’s wedding to Ian Beale which played out on New Year’s Eve 1999.

Martin’s character was also involved in dramatic plots like the murder of Saskia Duncan.

He hit her over the head with an ashtray after she started causing trouble at his E20 club night opening.

He also made a name for himself for feuding with the Mitchell brothers, being a conman and for having a drug addiction.

Mel and Steve’s rocky marriage had viewers gripped and it all came to an end when he was killed off in a car crash following a feud with Phil Mitchell.

He was trying to deceive Phil and help Lisa Fowler flee the country with Louise.

It came to an end when Steve was brutally killed in the crash.

On January 9 2018 Mel Owen made her return to EastEnders after 15 years away.

The actress returned to the soap with the couple’s son Hunter.

However her character came to an end last year when she was knocked down and killed by a lorry.
