Tamar Braxton ‘s new reality show has been postponed after her ‘apparent suicide attempt’.

The singer was rushed to hospital earlier this month after being found unresponsive in her hotel room.

The 43-year-old was found by her boyfriend David Adefeso at the Ritz-Carlton in Los Angeles, California.

He called for help, telling emergency services that Tamar had been drinking and had taken an unknown amount of prescription pills.

He said he was worried that it was a suicide attempt as she had “left a note earlier”.

She has since improved to a stable condition.

Now, TMZ reports that We TV has decided to postpone the release of Tamar’s new reality show, Get Ya Life!

It was originally scheduled for release on July 30 but has been pushed back to September 10.

The network said in a statement: “At this moment we are joining with her fans and sending strength and healing in the hope that she is getting the support and help she needs at this difficult time.”

In David’s 911 call, he was heard claiming that Tamar was distraught over her feud with the network over her portrayal in the first episode of the series.

However, sources tell the US site that it was David who was the one who was upset about the way he came across in the show.

TV bosses haven’t commented on the alleged argument but say that Tamar is “an incredibly important member” of the We TV family.

Los Angeles Police Department have confirmed that they received a call at around 9.45 pm that evening, reporting that a 43-year-old female had a medical emergency listed as a “possible overdose”.

A spokesperson for the Braxton Family Values star said: “Tamar has had a very tough and emotional day – more information will be coming in the next few days. Please pray for her.”

Tamar and David recently cancelled a release of their YouTube show Coupled & Quarantined.

They said in a statement: “Hello Ya’ll Unfortunately, Your girl Tamar is under the weather today and not feeling well so we need to postpone today’s show (Don’t worry it’s not Covid).

“We’re sad because we had a great show lined up for you today, but next week’s show is going to be even bigger and better. so sorry for the inconvenience, we know many of you look forward to the show every week. we’ll make it up to you next week.”
