R&B diva and reality TV star Tamar Braxton is opening up about things that went down in her relationship with businessman David Adefeso amid reports that their relationship was abusive.
Toni Braxton’s younger sister is telling her side of the story and claims that their arguments never got physical. The mother of one opened up in an interview with Tamron Hall.
It was a very emotional affair, and Tamar said at one point that David was her best friend. Some believe that the whole thing is confusing because Tamar sounds like someone who might be interested in getting back with her ex.
Tamar shared: “I am a survivor a domestic violence relationship. And not at any point [were] David and I in an abusive relationship. I voice-recorded it; he videotaped it. He has a camera in his car.”

She continued: “No, let me tell you something, I loved David. He was my best friend. He was an amazing, amazing partner. He was my son’s best friend as well; they were best friends. And it’s just so hard because, through everything else, I never expected this from him. Now, I have to be real with myself, is he acting like this because he found me the way that he found me? Probably, I don’t know.”
A rep for David responded to Tamar by stating: “The DA is investigating the incident, and Mr. Adefeso is forced to serve her publicly by taking out an ad in the Los Angeles Times Since she has dodged being served the DVTRO.”
Social media is having a hard time getting at the bottom of the story. One commenter explained: “Now she wanna back paddle 😂 after making allegations about the man character. Nah Tay Tay, stand on what you said.”
A second person added: “She making herself look crazy at this point. I don’t want to see her go through this. I love Tamar❤️.”
This Instagrammer chimed in: “Hold up. Her sisters were going hardcore and swears that man was abusive!!!! Something not adding up.”
This follower does not no know what to believe and chimed in: “She got yall praying for her one second and stoning her the next lol.”
It seems that Tamar is trying to fix things. Will David drop the case?
