Strictly Come Dancing pro Karen Hauer has been seen in public for the first time since her split from David Webb.

The 38-year-old was snapped taking her three dogs out on a walk after reports she had split from opera singer David.

Rocking her new short, peroxide blonde ‘do, Karen cut a sophisticated figure in a deep blue top and light blue trousers.

The star covered her face with shades as she enjoyed her time with her loyal pooches.

It was recently reported that Karen and David had decided to go their separate ways after a two-year romance, with it ending “on good terms.”

An insider told The Sun that the pair “have a mutual respect for one another and there were no other parties involved – the relationship simply ran its course.”

Karen was previously married to Kevin Clifton, who until last year had also been a pro dancer on Strictly.

Karen and Kevin announced their split in March 2018, but their working relationship always remained friendly and respectful.

And now it’s said that Karen has thrown herself into Strictly training to take her mind off things, and is being rallied around by colleagues and mates.

Fans breathed a sigh of relief when the BBC confirmed Strictly would be going ahead in 2020 after the Covid disruption had raised doubts.

The new celeb roster looks to be one of the most star-studded yet.

The Wanted’s Max George, actress Caroline Quentin and GMB’s Ranvir Singh are among the other big names that will be putting on their dancing shoes.

Jamie Laing will be there too, having sat out last year’s show due to injury.

Kelvin Fletcher stepped in at the last minute to take Jamie’s place, and went on to lift the Glitterball Trophy.

And Olympic champ boxer Nicola Adams is set to make history as she takes to the floor in the show’s first same-sex partnership.

This means she will be dancing with another woman, professional Katya Jones reportedly already throwing her name into the ring.

“They wanted to know if I wanted to be on the show,” Nicola said, “and I said, ‘Yeah, I’ll do it, but I want to dance with another female.'”
