Craig Revel Horwood has revealed he suffered a financial crisis during the coronavirus lockdown.
The outspoken Strictly Come Dancing judge, 55, has spoken out about how he took a huge financial hit due to there being no work in the arts and entertainment industry in which he works.
The telly star had to take five months away from work, which “triggered” his anxiety and made him worry about how he would “pay the bills”.
Speaking about the difficult time, Craig told MailOnline : “I had a crisis at the start of lockdown thinking: How am I going to pay my bills?
“It took me a good month to accept that this is reality and then it took me another month of panic and anxiety and just wondering how I am going to pay the bills and what is going to happen.”
Adding it was “just awful”, Craig said he “had to remind” himself there are “millions of people” in the same boat, and admitted he told himself to “get on with it”.
Thankfully, Craig managed to spend his time in lockdown ticking off a list of things he had always wanted to do.
The choreographer seems to be slowly getting back on his feet as he prepares for the new series of Strictly.
Craig hit the headlines in recent months as he proposed to his fiancé Jonathan Myring, 35, while on holiday in Tasmania.
He has also taken his time during the lockdown to plan their upcoming wedding.
The star said the couple want to have it at home, in Australia, with a lavish ceremony in the forest.
He described a forest wedding as a “beautiful position”.
Craig admitted their wedding will be in “two years”.
