Stacey Solomon has been showered with praise after revealing she suffers from anxiety.

The Loose Women star, 30, made the candid admission on social media on Tuesday night when she took to her Instagram Stories to explain she was suddenly hit with a huge gush of dread.

The proud mum-of-three insisted she had had a wonderful day with her beautiful boys, Zach, 12, Leighton, 8 and one-year-old Rex, and was baffled to suddenly be feeling so bad.

Stacey lifted the lid on her battle with anxiety with her 3.7 million followers in a candid post.

Alongside a lengthy caption where she described her symptoms, the bubbly television star shared a snapshot of herself baking a cheesecake in a bid to keep herself busy and to distract her from her thoughts.

“Just got a massive wave of anxiety for no reason whatsoever,” she began.

“Had a great day, and nothing has happened. It’s just decided to rear its head and say “Hi Stace, I thought it had been a while since your palms sweated profusely and your heart felt like it was holding its breath, so here I am.

She continued: “Might as well use it to my advantage and bake a cheesecake.

“Because sitting still right now isn’t an option.”

After attempting to bake her worries away, the former X Factor star settled down to watch some telly with her eldest son Zach as the pair cuddled up to watch Brooklyn 99 – her son’s favourote TV show.

Despite her efforts, Stacey couldn’t relax as one of the characters on the hit comedy was also suffering with anxiety, more specifically – a panic attack.

As the character cried out that he couldn’t catch his breath, Stacey admitted that she could relate to the TV star on several different levels as she attempted to calm herself.

Stacey has had a busy few weeks as her precious boys returned to school – leaving her home empty on the daily.

Last week, the proud mum posted a picture of her eldest sons Zachary and Leighton looking smart in their school uniforms as they grinned excitedly.

After dropping them off at school, she took to social media to share her sadness as she sobbed into the camera while on Instagram Stories.

“Ah… I don’t know if I’m relieved or what. It’s such a weird feeling,” she said.
