Stacey Solomon reunites with nan for socially-distanced cuppa in emotional post

Stacey Solomon reunited with her grandma over the weekend for a socially-distanced lunch after not seeing her for months.

The telly star, 30, was overcome with emotion as she headed out for a pub lunch and cuppa with her beloved grandparent by the riverside on Saturday.

Loose Women’s Stacey was beaming with joy as she filmed her grandma sitting beside baby Rex.

They both laughed and smiled as they enjoyed each other’s company.

Stacey shared a clip from the heartfelt moment on Instagram, writing: “We’ve [driven] a little way to come and see my grandma. She lives quite far from us…

“I just love her so so much and feel so lucky to have her in our lives. I want to see her as much as I can. I can’t wait to properly be [allowed] to cuddle her again.”

“We put some chairs out by the river and got the blankets out and made her a nice cup of tea,” Stacey gushed. “She’s back home now, we had such a lovely day and I miss her already.

“Thinking of all of you who have lost grandparents or who are unable to see them at the moment. Love you X.”

The former X Factor star had a heavy heart after leaving her grandma.

She later shared on her Story: “I really hope you’re all OK tonight. Your messages about grandparents are really making me emotional…

“I can’t stop thinking of those still shielding, the elderly without family and friends…those who lost grandparents without being able to be there… I’m so sorry.”
