Stacey Solomon has explained the reason she decided to get veneers.
The Loose Women panelist, 31, is often transparent with fans on social media, and regularly hosts quick Q&A’s where she answers her fans’ burning questions.
And one fan in particular asked the mum-of-three if her teeth are real, prompting her to explain the reason for getting veneers put in.
“Did you get your teeth done,” one fan asked.
In an Instagram Story clip, Stacey told fans: “Just got out the car and I feel like this is a perfect questions to answer in pitch black. Could you see real teeth in pitch black like this?
“These are definitely not natural.”
She then penned an answer to the question, writing: “My teeth are not real… So don’t waste your money on teeth whiteners if you want them this colour.
“I actually wish I had my natural teeth. But they lost their health through pregnancy with Leighton so I have implants and veneers…”
Stacey recently opened up about the state her teeth were in before getting them done, admitting they were “black and yellow”.
Stacey opened up about how she had hated her teeth and that they had made her feel sick.
And while she felt much more comfortable with her veneers, Stacey said that she still really liked natural teeth as she felt they brought character to someone’s features.
She told her fellow Loose Women panelists: “It’s my biggest fear, my teeth falling out, because it may come as a shock to you, but these are not real!”
Probed by Janet Street-Porter about what are under her teeth, Stacey continued: “Nothing! When I got pregnant with [son] Leyton, the front ones went all black and yellow-y weird colour and I lost a lot of the back ones so I got plates over the top.
“Then they felt really bulbousy and I was so sensitive to the point where I couldn’t even breathe in without thinking, ‘Ugh! It really hurts!’
“So then I got them done again after that because they made me so unhappy and I finally feel a bit normal with them now, even though they’re obviously not normal now because they’re not real.”
She added: “But I think teeth is such a personal thing and any time that someone talks about their teeth or hurting their teeth or pulling one out it honestly makes my whole mouth shudder!
“I love natural teeth, I think there’s nothing that gives so much character to someone’s face.”
