Supermum Stacey Solomon has defended letting little lad Rex eat unwashed wild berries.

The mum-of-three, 30, documented a sunny stroll through fields this afternoon with sons Zachary, 12, Leighton, seven and 15-month-old Rex.

Her sister joined them as they took in the sun-drenched scenery.

Loose Women panellist Stacey put together a string of clips from the walk, which included little Rex having the time of his life with a stick he found.

The tot can then be seen tucking into some wild berries.

Stacey captioned the clips: “Nope Susan I didn’t wash the berries…I forgot to bring my sink with us but it stopped him from eating the mud so I went with it.”

Later she shared a video of a tuckered-out Rex having a snooze on her chest.

Stacey wrote: “So many of you messaging asking if I’m worried about bugs that can live in…blackberries…I’m not I’m pretty sure they’re safe to eat…Extra protein imo.”

She told the camera: “So many of you are saying ‘aren’t there little white worms that can live in blackberries?’

“I think there are sometimes, but my grandma always said it’s just a bit of extra protein – I’m pretty sure it’s safe!”

Stacey shares Rex with partner Joe Swash, the three heading off for a last minute seaside getaway over the weekend.

After Joe spent a week in Wales with his son Harry, 13 – who he shares with ex Emma Sophocleous – he was reunited with Stacey and didn’t need to pack his bags as he headed off again.

Stacey shared a video of the adorable moment Joe walked through the door, little Rex waiting impatiently for his daddy to get home.

While they kicked back in the coast, Stacey’s fans issued her a stark warning about an innocent mistake.

On Sunday morning, the trio headed down to the beach to collect rocks – with some claiming she could get arrested for it.

“Well that’s a bummer,” she laughed, “I just spent two hours collecting those bad boys.

“We’re going to have to take them back. We have to, it’s illegal.
