Sam Thompson has denied turning to Celebs Go Dating for love life help for a third time after his Zara McDermott heartbreak.
The Made In Chelsea star was reported to have turned to the dating show once again after his high profile split from his co-star ex Zara, who cheated on him during her stint on X Factor : Celebrity.
The 28-year-old was alleged to have turned to the Celebrity Dating Agency again to get over the heartbreak.
An insider claimed that Sam, who was on the hit E4 dating show in both 2018 and 2019, felt he needed the help of dating experts Paul Brunson and Anna Williamson following his recent break-up.
“Sam’s had a tough time recently after separating from Zara,” the source told Mail Online.
They continued: “He’s been in two minds about getting back with her and has really needed professional advice in how to stay strong and understand his worth.
“Things have also felt complicated for Sam as he’s wanted to be there for Zara as she’s also been so upset after losing him.
“Thankfully, due to his history with the agency, he’s been able to be himself and the agents are equally able to give the advice he needs to hear.”
But Sam has since taken to his social accounts to staunchly deny the claims.
Posting a screenshot of the news on his Instagram Story, Sam told fans on Monday: “Not sure where this came from but I’m sure most of you will be relived to o know I’m not rejoining the agency for a third time [laughing face emoji].”
He went on to add: “Absolutely LOVE the show and everyone there is like family to be, and I love the little part I have to play hosting the digital section with my brother Pete Wicks.
“That’s more than enough for me [smiley face emoji].
“Next series should like it’s going to be a banger though!”
His denial that he’s reaching out for more dating help comes as Made In Chelsea fans watched emotional scenes on Monday night as Zara poured out her heart in a letter to Sam.
Love Island star Zara and MIC royalty Sam called it quits in one of the show’s dramatic splits after it emerged that she’d cheated during the early days of their relationship.
The saga has played out on our screens, Zara shooting what could be her final shot as she puts pen to paper in a last stab at rekindling what she had with Sam.
She’d earlier chatted with Sam’s mate Reza Amiri-Garroussi, who reminded Zara that Sam had got his whole family to watch her X Factor performances.
So Zara wrote down her feelings, and sends Reza off with the note to give to Sam.
Later during the episode, we got a look at Sam reading through Zara’s letter.
“Since you have been away I have been doing a lot of reflecting about a lot of things,” it began.
“I have been reflecting on my life before I met you, on our life together and also on the kind of life I want to live.”
Zara went on to apologise again, brand herself “immature and stupid” and said there’s “no excuse” for what she did.
We found out later on that Zara hasn’t heard a peep from Sam since she sent Reza off with the letter.
“I feel like s**t,” she declares upon meeting Reza and Ruby.
