RuPaul’s Drag Race Chi Chi DeVayne star has died at the age of just 34.
It comes after she was hospitalised with pneumonia last week where she asked fans to pray for her.
She was also admitted to hospital with high blood pressure and suspected kidney failure in July.
Chi Chi told fans that she had catheters to her heart and kidneys surgically installed before undergoing dialysis.
She lived with scleroderma, a rare, potentially life-threatening condition caused by the immune system attacking the tissue under the skin, and around internal organs and blood vessels, which can also cause scarring and thickening of tissue.
Chi Chi is the stage name of the stage name of Zavion Davenport.
She appeared on the eighth season of RuPaul’s Drag Race.
Then she also starred in the third season of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars.
It comes just days after Chi Chi posted a video of herself in a hospital gown.
She said: “Hey guys, I’m back in [hospital].
“Keep me in your prayers, I’ll be back soon.”
“Currently battling pneumonia so I’ll be MIA for a few more days,” she added.
Originally she went into hospital with a suspected kidney failure and she was discharged days later in July.
Always open with her fans, her camera was rolling when she underwent dialysis.
Fans had been raising money for her medical bills.
Chi Chi is the second contestant from Drag Race to have died following the death of season two contestant Sahara Davenport.
