Rolling Stones rocker Ronnie Wood has been warned by a nutrition expert to stop feeding his four-year-old twins caviar.
Ronnie, 73, shares twin girls Alice and Gracie with wife Sally Humphreys, and recently told that he often tucks into the posh treat at breakfast.
But nutritionist Judy More has told caviar – which is raw fish roe – carries a risk of food poisoning if unpasteurised, and shouldn’t be given to children under five.
“For children under five, we say no to raw fish,” she told.
“Caviar is raw fish roe. Unpasteurised caviar carries a risk of food poisoning.”
Ronnie recently told that he sometimes sits down to caviar – which can cost up to £300 for one ounce – with toast, onions and a boiled egg.
“The girls love it,” the rocker revealed. “They say, ‘Daddy, can we have that black stuff?’ I say ‘What black stuff?’
“And they say, ‘You know, caviar!'”
A rep for Ronnie has been contacted for comment.
He recently melted hearts with a sweet snap of his twins to mark their fourth birthday.
“Happy 4th birthday to my beautiful Alice and Gracie,” the proud dad penned.
He also shares Jesse with first wife Krissy Findlay, and Jamie, Leah and Tyrone with second wife Jo Wood.
Ronnie recently paid heartfelt tribute to Stones bandmate Mick Jagger on his 77th birthday.
Ronnie, frontman Mick, Keith Richards and Charlie are renowned for still touring into their 70s.
“Wishing @mickjagger a very happy birthday!” Ronnie captioned a string of snaps of them together, many from the Stones’ ’60s heyday.
And while he had his nostalgia goggles on, he dished on a valuable life skill his mum taught him.
He told the Tea with Twiggy podcast: “My mum was great at crochet and knitting.
“I knit too – I used to hold the ball of wool for her, and she taught me the plain stitch.
