RodjER Joins FlyToMoon Dota 2’s Roster, Player’s Fourth Team In Less Than A Year

The Dota 2 pro teams continue to shuffle across the globe. The latest is the veteran Vladimir “RodjER” Nikogosyan moving on from HellRaisers to the FlyToMoon. This team is his fourth Dota 2 team in less than a year.

The Russian/Armenian pro signed with FlyToMoon after he played for the organization as a stand-in. The lineup turned out to gel well and won the European Divine Division of the Omega League.

The official team’s Twitter account writes, “Now we wanna officially announce that Vladimir “RodjER” Nikogosyan, becoming a part of our team!”

RodjER played for Virtus.Pro back in September 2019, before moving on to Winstrike Team in November of the same month. The Dota 2 player would play for the organization until February of this year and signing with HellRaisers in March. After the latter organization’s management decided to move around their roster, RodjER took a break from big-ticket tournaments for a month. He was asked to fill in for FTM’s roster, and now here we are.

The CIS team FTM performed poorly in the tier-two and three competitions in the last five months. The team accumulated eight eighth-place finishes before winning the Omega League European Divine Division against 5men. It has been difficult for the management to cater to players that would play well with their team captain, Andrey “ALWAYSWANNAFLY” Bondarenko.

The lineup now consists of CIS players: Alik “V-Tune” Vorobey, Bogdan “Iceberg” Vasilenko, Victor “GeneRaL” Nigrini, the team captain mentioned above, and, of course, RodjER.

FlyToMoon will soon be competing in the OGA Dota Pit season three to qualify for its main event. With ALWAYSWANNAFLY and RodjER, the team will now feature two veterans of the MOBA game. RodjER has been competing at the professional level since 2014, signed with teams such as Cleave Gaming, Aware Gaming, Rebels, and Effect. He has also played for well-established teams like Natus Vincere and Virtus.Pro. Now that FlyToMoon found their fifth man, the OGA Dota Pit will be as cutthroat with teams battling such as OG, Secret, and Nigma. The tournament starts on September 23.

FTM is relatively new to the Dota 2 scene, being only created in February 2018. The org has accumulated upwards of $300,000. Back in the same year, it was formed, the team’s first step towards tier 1 has landed them third place in the EPICENTER XL after losing to Team Liquid.

Fans of FTM sent their best of wishes over at Twitter. One fan writes, “Best of luck to new @FTM_dota2 roster!”
