Robert Pattinson Tests Positive For COVID-19 And Production On The Batman Film Is Stopped Again!

According to new reports, Robert Pattinson has tested positive for the COVID-19 virus while filming for the new Batman movie and so, as a result, production on the highly-anticipated project has hated once again! For the time being, the actor’s set to just focus on recovering and not spreading the virus any further.

Vanity Fair and Deadline were the first news outlets to report on the actor’s diagnosis and how that has affected filming for The Batman, a movie in which Robert Pattinson portrays the iconic titular character.

This comes after WarnerBros. previously announced production had been put on pause due to a crew member testing positive for the virus.

As it turns out, the said staffer unfortunately spread COVID-19 to at least Robert before everything was shot down.

The original statement made via Vanity Fair reads: ‘A member of The Batman production has tested positive for Covid-19, and is isolating in accordance with established protocols. Filming is temporarily paused.’

This marks the second time that everyone is forced to halt production on this movie.

It also happened back in March when the virus first started spreading.

At the time, they were all shooting scenes in the United Kingdom and when the health crisis was first declared a pandemic they had no choice but to postpone working on it further.

Later on, Robert Pattinson chatted with GQ, telling the news outlet that Warner Bros. had rented him an apartment in London where he was to remain in self quarantine along with his girlfriend, Suki Waterhouse.

Noting that he had been ignoring his personal trainer that was supposed to keep him in shape for the role, Robert stressed: ‘Literally, I’m just barely doing anything.

According to the director, they were able to shoot about 25 percent of the movie before the pandemic started.
