Rebekah Vardy has apologised for comparing her onetime lover Peter Andre’s manhood to a miniature chipolata sausage, new legal documents reveal.
The 59-page documents were filed to the court by the WAG’s lawyers on Tuesday as part of her ongoing court case with Coleen Rooney.
In them, her lawyers claim Rebekah felt “pressured” into the remark and “has apologised” to Peter in the years since.
Now married to Leicester City ace Jamie Vardy and a mum-of-three, Rebekah was just 22 when she spoke to The News Of The World in 2004 about her night of passion with the star.
As seen by The Sun, the new documents state: “It is admitted that the Claimant gave a ‘kiss and tell’ interview to The News of the World in 2004 when the Claimant was 22.
“The Claimant regrets having given this interview and has apologised to Mr Andre.
“The Claimant was in a difficult relationship with her ex-husband and felt pressurised by her ex-husband to give this story to the newspaper.”
Coleen’s lawyers were first to cite the episode, writing previously in legal papers: “In the interview, the Claimant disclosed amongst other things that (i) she had sexual intercourse with Peter Andre in November 2001, and that it lasted just five minutes.
“(ii) Peter Andre had ‘the smallest trouser equipment I’ve ever seen’ that was ‘like a miniature chipolata’.
“(iii) that he ‘had absolutely no hairs on his body’; and (iv) he ‘slaver[ed]’ like one of her boxer dogs when he kissed her.”
For his part Andre, 47, has never commented on the claims.
However he showed his sense of humour after the interview resurfaced, quipping: “Now that’s a banger :)”
The so-called Wagatha Christie scandal exploded last October when Coleen alleged she had been leaving a bread-crumb trail of fake gossip about her family in a bid to narrow down who could be selling stories about her to the press.
She claimed to have restricted her private Instagram to one sole follower – Vardy’s account.
Dancing On Ice star Becky, who was pregnant at the time, said in court documents she had been the subject of brutal online abuse, including one troll telling her they hoped her baby would die.
She strenuously denied being the source behind three specific fake stories about Coleen that appeared in the Sun.
The two WAGs now have until February 8 to reach a settlement in their peace talks, which could involve Coleen offering Becky a financial incentive to keep the case out of the courtroom.
