As you might have heard, Benjamin Keough passed away at the age of just 27 from a suspected suicide on June 12 and now, his grandmother, Priscilla Presley is finally breaking her silence on the tragedy that has struck the family. Here is what the pained actress had to say about losing her grandson.

Earlier today, the 75 year old star who is also known for having been married to the late music legend, Elvis Presley, took to her Facebook account to share a heartbreaking letter about Benjamin’s death.

This was the first time she acknowledged his death publicly.

She admitted that the days since have been ‘some of the darkest’ in their family!

‘The shock of losing Ben has been devastating. Trying to put all of these pieces together of all the possible whys has penetrated my soul. Each day I wake up I pray it will get better. Then, I think of my daughter and the pain she is going through as she was a doting mother,’ the famous woman wrote.

Priscilla went on to also say that ‘Ben’s father, Danny, who is completely lost, as Ben was his only son. Riley, so loving and so close to him; Harper and Finley, who absolutely adored Ben. Navarone, who struggles deeply with loss and death. Rest In Peace Ben, you were loved.’

The late Benjamin was the son of Lisa Marie Presley, who is Priscilla and Elvis’s only daughter, with Danny Keough.

The two parents also share an adult daughter named Riley as well as twins Harper and Finley, 11.

This statement comes after a rep for Lisa Marie told the world via ET that ‘She is trying to stay strong for her 11 year old twins and her oldest daughter, Riley. She adored that boy. He was the love of her life.’

Of course, they still mentioned that she was heartbroken.
