For the Labor Day weekend, some fans of President Donald Trump planned to express their support for his reelection via boat parades around the country.
The leader of the free world loves these kinds of demonstrations; he believes this form of enthusiasm will translate at the polls in November, despite the fact that his opponent, Democratic Joe Biden, is the one leading in public surveys at the moment.
Moreover, things did not go as planned for Trump supporters when at least four boats sank in Texas, and the images have gone viral.
President Trump is facing a lot of issues, with former staff members leaking negative stories about his time in office, and for observers, the boating incidents are perfect illustrations of all the things going wrong with his campaign right now.
When the sinking boats story reached social media, critics of Mr. Trump had a field day and are hoping that this is a sign of things to come on November 3.
However, one of his defenders pointed out: “🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️ that’s somebody’s sister someone’s mom someone dad someone’s brother. These are still human beings were talking about. And you ppl have so much hate in your heart that the thought of people dying excites you🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️ 🤮🤮🤮🤮.”
A second voice went in the same direction with: “So innocent people’s lives were put at risk, and that’s something to celebrate and thank God for? Just because of different political views? Insensitive.”
It needs to be said that no injuries linked to the boat parade have been reported. But, a commenter decided to make a comparison with slavery, the person added: “All the ancestors that perished in the sea bc they’d rather die than be a slave out here taking down these boats. We see you Fam Reparations by any means necessary. 🔴⚫🟢”
This social media user has turned the whole episode into a joke: “Trump did that because peanut butter was great and he did not know that grab them by the puzzy was no mask agitator that data showed was infiltrated by a can of soup up jelly that was great when the wall of MAGA hid in the bunker and played donuts with the cheeseburger.”
Trump and Biden will face off in a debate on September 29 in Ohio.
