Soap Awards 2022: Jorgie Porter shows baby bump on red carpet

Hollyoaks actress Jorgie Porter cradled her baby bump on the red carpet at the British Soap Awards, as she revealed her pregnancy.

The blonde bombshell oozed glamour in a stunning white gown as she showcased her blossoming bump at the Soap Awards.

Earlier this week, the actress toasted to “hopeful beginnings” as she announced she is pregnant with her first child after miscarrying quadruplets.

The Theresa McQueen actress, 34, shared the incredible news on her Instagram today, with a heartwarming TikTok video.

She was pregnant with quadruplets last year, but sadly miscarried at 14 weeks in November 2021.

However the mum-to-be is excited for the future as she told her fans there is a baby on the way.

She posted a snap of the baby scan on her social media, revealing she and fiance Ollie Piotrowski are thrilled to become new parents.

“Hopeful beginnings…” she captioned the post.

Jorgie’s co-stars were quick to congratulate her on the amazing news.

Chelsee Healey wrote: “Crying,” with a line of emotional emojis and hearts.

Presenter Ashley James added: “Ahhhh I’m so so happy for you my love.”

While the couple were shocked and saddened by the loss of their four children last year, Jorgie said she and Ollie were staying optimistic on welcoming children together in the future.

She told Closer: “Losing the quads was so sad and painful but it absolutely cemented the feeling that I want to be a mum. There’s no news to share as yet but let’s just say we’re trying – a lot!”

In February, the actress went on to explain that she was taking extra steps to help her fall pregnant.

She revealed: “I’m taking fertility supplements, including folic acid, cutting down on alcohol and I’m mindful about not getting too stressed. I keep thinking, ‘I’ve been pregnant before, so it’s possible I’ll fall pregnant again’.
