Piers Morgan tells Rita Ora to ‘stop banging on about supporting NHS’ after rule breaks

Piers Morgan has taken aim at Rita Ora again after the troubled singer came under fire for a second lockdown rule break.
The pop star apologised last week after hosting large party for her 30th birthday which led to her paying a whopping £10,000 fine.
This weekend she was back in the headlines after admitting she previously ignored the government’s quarantine demands.
Yesterday she said sorry again after failing to self-isolate for two weeks after returning from a work trip to Egypt.
Egypt is not on the UK’s ‘safe list’ of countries, meaning anyone who returns home is required by law to quarantine.
Good Morning Britain host Piers rounded on the star after her latest blunder.
He called her “selfish” after her first faux pas – and went back in for a second go after the latest story.
He tweeted: “Suggest @RitaOra stops banging on about her support for the NHS, for whom her own mother works, and also stops doing things that make the lives of health workers more difficult.”
Rita has previously spoken out in support of the NHS as her mother, Vera Sahatciu, works as psychiatrist and returned to the frontline to help during the first peak of the pandemic.
Rita yesterday released another statement – days on from her apology over her party.
“I recently flew to Egypt to perform at a corporate event for a private company, where my travel party followed protocol and presented negative Covid tests upon entry, as required by Egyptian authorities,” she said.
“Upon my return to Britain, I should have followed government advice and isolated myself for the required period.
“As you know, I didn’t follow government advice and for that I apologised earlier this week.
“I apologise again, unreservedly. I would like to add that I have been tested subsequently, including today, and remain negative for Covid-19 and the same is true for all members of my immediate family who form my support bubble.”
The singer is now reportedly determined to find out who was the party whistleblower after agreeing to pay a £10,000 fine for her illegal celebrations.
Rita is looking to follow in the footsteps of Coleen Rooney, who is in a legal battle with Rebekah Vardy, in what has been dubbed the Wagatha Christie trial.
The star is said to have “game plan” with the view of exposing the person who had exposed her party.
Rita has since pulled out of an appearance on ITV’s Jonathan Ross Show
