Peter Andre was forced to turn to fans for help after his son Junior said he doesn’t belong in his family or with mum Katie Price.
The 15-year-old jokingly told his dad “I don’t belong in this family” in a clip from the family’s reality show on YouTube.
Taken aback by his son’s worrying remark, Peter, 47, rushed to his Instagram Story to ask fellow parents if he should be insulted.
Sharing a snippet of the clip in which Junior talks about his deep feelings, Peter wrote: “Should I be insulted?” alongside a laughing emoji.
He then provides a voting poll for fans, with a “yes” or “no” option to press on.
While most of Peter’s followers voted that he shouldn’t be insulted, nearly 40% insisted that he should.
The remark came when Junior was speaking about where he sees himself fit in during Life With The Andre’s as he sat in Peter’s garden barefoot.
Junior told his dad and younger sister Princess: “The reason I don’t like to wear shoes that often is because I like to feel nature under my feet.”
He added: “I don’t think I belong in this family. I’m Mowgli, from The Jungle Book. I belong in the jungle with the exotic snakes and bears.”
In the clip which the Mysterious Girl singer shared on his Instagram, Peter captioned it: “Cheers son! What’s the most random thing your child has ever said to you?”
There were plenty of fans that wanted to share their hilarious experiences of when their children said something that startled them.
One wrote that their child asked: “Can guide dogs read? How do they know that they are allowed in a shop that says guide dogs only?”
While a third was closer to the experience that Peter had enjoyed, writing: “My son asked me when he was about 5 ‘when do I get to live with my real family’.”
To which Peter responded: “Sounds like Junior at 6,” alongside a laughing emoji.
Another wrote: “My son is nearly 6 years old. Took him shopping few weeks ago. And while we were walking he just randomly said ‘why is so many girls in here ?! I LOVE THEM ALLLLL’.”
