Pete Wicks has sent his former girlfriend Chloe Sims a sweet birthday message just weeks after they split.
The couple, who star on TOWIE together, were incredibly close friends before they started dating in secret back in 2018.
They called time on their relationship earlier this month following a two-year sexual romance.
Putting the drama behind them, Pete showed just how close the good friends they remain on Monday as he publicly showed Chloe affection on Instagram for her birthday.
Beside an old snap of them both, the Celebs Go Dating hunk gushed: “Here’s to another year of you being you…happy birthday to one of the most important people in my life ❤.”
Fans of the TOWIE favourite love their unbreakable bond and commented on the gorgeous snap of Chloe, 37, and Pete, 32.
Among the sea of sweet comments, one wrote: “Lovers and friends [heart emoji]”.
Others added: “Your the perfect match! You shouldn’t hide away the live you have for each other. Be happy with one another and embrace each other. Xx”

Pete and Chloe split just weeks ago after their secret sexual relationship was causing problems with filming for the ITVBe reality show.
Things became difficult for their close friends as the pair didn’t speak to each other for six months after a huge fight in January.
It left fans and co-stars questioning if there was something going on between them that no one else knew about.
TOWIE fans got to see a huge argument break out between Chloe and Pete as they unveiled their secret romance in a recent explosive episode.
Chloe also shared a gorgeous snap of her and Pete sharing a hug on Instagram which had fans begging them to get back together.
She labelled the hunk her “happy place” as her followers flooded the comments section with words of encouragement.
One shared: “Just get together you too are perfect for each other ❤.”
A second added: “I’ve Said this for years – you are so suited to each other!”
“Please tell me you are both together now,” another begged.
But much to fans’ disappointment, Chloe and Pete have yet to confirm if they are back together.
