Nick Cordero’s widow has shared a heartbreaking video of her young son saying “Dada” as his first word.

Actress Amanda Kloots-Larsen was left devastated after her Broadway actor husband died earlier this month following a 91-day hospital stint battling coronavirus.

Cordero, 41, died on July 5 at Cedars Sinai hospital in Los Angeles after suffering complications from Covid-19, including a blood pressure issue that meant his right leg had to be amputated.

Kloots-Larsen, 38, has now shared a video of their son Elvis saying his first words, and she told fans he was pointing at a picture of Nick on a lamp and saying: “Dada right there.”

In a post on Instagam, she shared a video of the special moment and told fans she was amazed her little boy still knows his dad after being separated from him since March.

She wrote: “Elvis said his first words today!! Listen closely!

“He pointed at Nick in our new picture light and said ‘right there.’ He hasn’t seen Nick since March 30th.

“The fact that he still knows who his Dada is, point to him and give him a kiss to me is amazing.”

The couple were in the middle of moving from New York to Los Angeles when Cordeo fell ill, and Kloots-Larsen has gone ahead with the move despite the tragedy.

Earlier this week, she revealed she has moved into the house they bought together prior to her husband’s death even though they will not get to experience it together.

She shared a picture of herself standing in front of a removals van and revealed the couple’s belongings had gone into storage while her husband was ill and she was finally going ahead with the move.

In a later post, she added: “Heading back to Los Angeles today with a brave face. These next couple weeks I will start the transition of moving into the home Nick and I bought together.

“I’m not expecting this to be easy, in fact I think it will be very hard, but I’m going into it knowing I need to be strong.

“I have to find my new normal, at least whatever that is for Elvis and I right now. I know Nick will be with us.
