Neil Jones’ new girlfriend Luisa Eusse has been reported to the Home Office as an ‘illegal immigrant’ after the breakdown of her last relationship.
Luisa, a 23-year-old dancer from Columbia, went public with Strictly Come Dancing pro Neil in August after secretly dating him for a short while, just weeks after splitting from DJ Hannah Wants.
She’d come to the UK on a fiancee visa as she and Hannah were planning to get married, and was said to be financially dependent on her girlfriend.
But when they split, Luisa’s new circumstances invalidated her visa, so Hannah told the Home Office her ex was still in the country potentially illegally, reports the Sun On Sunday.
However, Luisa has managed to change her visa to a student one, although she’s not yet confirmed what or where she’ll be studying as part of the UK’s strict immigration rules.
A sources told the newspaper that Luisa was already in the UK when she met Neil.
“Hannah thought Luisa was going to extend the fiancée visa, because they were talking to register offices about a wedding. Then as quick as a flash the romance was over,” said the mole.
“So Hannah did the responsible thing and spoke to the Home Office.”
The source said Hannah thought Luisa would have to leave the country and apply for a new visa before coming back, and feels “angry and a bit bemused” that her ex is already back in a high-profile romance so soon after their split.
“Hannah is unsure whether Luisa really came over here planning to marry or just used her,” they added.
“Hannah also told people that Luisa has previous visa problems in Spain, from when she worked in Ibiza.”
Mum of one Luisa, whose daughter is back in Columbia, applied for the fiancee visa in February when she and Hannah were looking to marry.
However, it lasts just six months and can only be extended if the couple can show proof they’re planning to marry within the next six months – although with coronavirus restrictions in place in the UK, that has been difficult for many couples.
Neil’s spokesman explained: “Luisa is not here illegally. She’s studying here.”
Meanwhile, despite being together for less than three months, Luisa has already referred to the Strictly pro as her ‘husband’ while Neil has gushed over how much he loves her.
Neil, who was previously married to Strictly’s Katya Jones before they split last year, spent yesterday with Luisa at a Manchester skate park.
