The late Naya Rivera had an “incredible” gift to always be able to lift her Glee co-star Chris Colfer’s spirits if he was “in a bad mood”, he has revealed.
Chris opened up about the heartbreak of losing his friend and fellow actor this week, saying she would lift his spirits when they were low.
The 30-year-old star told how Naya would do impressions that would always make him smile when he spoke to E! News.
“A lot of people probably don’t know this, but Naya had the most incredible impressions,” he said.
She was “always, always ready to give you one if you were in a bad mood,” he explained.
“She had this one of Kim Kardashian on jury duty that would always, always make me belly laugh whenever I needed it – I needed one.”
Chris and Naya shared their time on Glee playing a gay singer and lesbian cheerleader who join the high school glee club.
Naya saved the life of their five-year-old boy in her final moments in July.
She tragically drowned after renting a boat to go out on California’s Lake Piru with her son.
Authorities say she lifted him onto the boat to save his life before tragically being swept away.
Her body was discovered days later after an extensive search.
Chris’ heartbreaking insight into his bond with the late Naya comes after her lookalike younger sister Nickayla moved in with her ex-husband Ryan Dorsey as they care for his son Josey together.
Ryan and the fashion model were even seen holding hands as they turn to each other during the difficult time.
Nickayla penned an emotional tribute to her sister after the actress’ body was discovered.
“Sister, there are no words to describe my love for you,” she wrote.
“Side by side or miles apart, our connection is infinite. Our bond is unbreakable.
“We were complete opposites, yet simultaneously the same. The yin to my yang. I never knew that by losing you, I would find so much of you in myself.
“I’ve never known a life without you in it & still can’t imagine it. My world is turned upside down. But through it all, everything we were, we are still.
“I’ll always look at you with the same eyes as I did when I was young.
