Michelle Keegan looks every inch the perfect cyclist in her latest Instagram post.

The former Coronation Street actress, 33, took to the photo-sharing app on Sunday evening to share a photo of herself clad in Lycra shorts and a form-fitting top as she posed alongside her flashy road bike.

Our Girl star Michelle could be seen with all the gear as she modelled a black helmet and sunglasses as she stood by a river as the sun shone brightly.

Michelle – who, like many, took up the new hobby in lockdown – mocked herself in the caption as she admitted that her new pastime did not last long.

She typed: “My hobby that lasted 3 weeks… and what a fantastic 3 weeks they were #summer2020.”

Proving that Michelle is not the only one to have ditched her new hobby after a few weeks, her sister-in-law Jess Wright typed under image: “Ditto lol #puzzles &bikerides.”

Made In Chelsea’s Louise Thompson appeared to be able to relate as she commented with several laughing emojis and Olly Murrs added a clapping emoji and laughing face icon.

In August, brunette beauty Michelle revealed that she had taken up cycling, alongside her husband Mark Wright.

She boasted about her new hobby by uploading a snap of herself on her two wheels whizzing through a field.

Sharing how much she enjoyed the first UK lockdown that began in March and added that she enjoyed being able to try new things.

Michelle told Cosmopolitan: “I’m taking my dogs for daily walks, I’ve been doing a jigsaw a week and I’ve taken up cycling on a proper road bike. We go out three times a week and do 11 miles!

“I’m writing two things. I’ve never had the time to sit down, write and research and I’m really enjoying the process. It’s a comedy-drama and a mini-series drama.

“I had the idea for one of them a few years ago and this time has helped me get my ideas down on paper.

“I’ve had meetings with production companies on Zoom. Hopefully, it’s something we can get off the ground. It’s exciting.”
