Movie legend Sir Michael Caine was seen stepping out for a romantic dinner in London with his wife Shakira.
The Batman Begins star, 87, celebrated his 47th wedding anniversary with Shakira back in January.
Last night, the pair headed to the upscale Oswald’s Club in Mayfair for a meal together and were spotted leaving the restaurant.
Seen lovingly hand-in-hand with his wife, Michael wore a smart navy suit with a light blue shirt.
He steadied himself as he walked with a cane, while Shakira wore a shimmering midnight green blazer and dress ensemble with dark tights and a sparkling handbag.
Shakira also was adorned with a lighter-green necklace to compliment her ensemble.
Harry Brown star Michael has used a cane to walk since a 2018 ankle injury after slipping on ice.
At the time, a spokesperson told the Mirror said: “Michael slipped and broke his ankle in his garden during the recent heavy snow.
“He is in fine health and great spirits.”
Michael and Shakira have been married since 1973, following the actor’s first marriage to actress Patricia Haines from 1955 to 1962, with whom he had his first daughter Dominique.
He had fallen for model Shakira when he saw her in a coffee advert for Maxwell House and got her telephone number from a friend and pursued her for ten days until she agreed to go on a date with him.
The couple has one daughter together, 47-year-old Natasha Haleema.
Despite his senior years, Michael shows no signs of slowing down, as he is currently in cinemas in Christopher Nolan’s new sci-fi thriller Tenet, opposite stars John David Washington, Robert Pattinson, and Elizabeth Debicki.
In the film, Michael plays the inventively named Sir Michael Crosby, a British intelligence officer.
Following the film’s release, Michael tweeted: “Chris Nolan has done it again. Tenet is the best action film ever.”
The pair previously worked together on the films Batman Begins, The Prestige, The Dark Knight, Inception, The Dark Knight Rises and Interstellar.
