Melanie Sykes ‘ignores lockdown rules as she films in London days after Italy break’

Melanie Sykes seemingly flouted the Covid-19 lockdown rules to film in London following her return from Venice where she saw her Italian toyboy

Melanie Sykes appeared to ignore the lockdown rules after her return from Italy to see her Italian toyboy.

The TV personality was pictured with her gondolier lover Riccardo Simionato, 23, on November 21 before she returned to her home turf in the UK.

But just four days later, the mother-of-two was photographed larking about outside The May Fair hotel and inside one of the gorgeous rooms on November 24.

Travellers returning from Italy must self-isolate for two weeks, according to latest government guidelines amid the Covid-19 pandemic.

Coronavirus lockdown rules only permits essential travel to other countries from the UK amid the second national clampdown.

It’s in the last week of restrictions before the UK goes back to using a Tier system to establish the rules in different parts of the country.

Seemingly Mel flouted the rules as she filmed at and around The May Fair just days after her return.

She wrote on Instagram : “Filming today At The Mayfair @reiss shot by @sallyrowemua.”

Mel added: “Titanic vibes in me new coat @reiss#camelcoat shot by @sallyrowemua#london#filming.”

Mirror Online reached out to Melanie Sykes and The Mayfair Hotel’s representative for further comment.

Mel had returned to Italy to reunite with her Italian toyboy once more.

It was all very romantic when they first met and had a brief dalliance during her brief six-day stint in Italy.

The presenter has been unlucky in love with two failed marriages.

First off, she was married to Daniel Caltagirone from 2001 until 2009.

They have two children Roman, 18, and Valentino, 16, together.

Later, she walked down the aisle with Jack Cockings in 2013 but it didn’t work out and ended in 2016.
