Meghan Markle Getting Ready For Her Next Big Role After Signing With Netflix? – Co-CEO Of The Streaming Platform Reveals!

According to some reports, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have signed a 100 million deal with Netflix in the aftermath of their departure from the British Royal family. Does that mean that the Duchess is going to return to her acting career or not?

This is what a lot of fans have been wondering and now, the co-CEO of Netflix, Reed Hastings, teased everyone about what they can look forward to seeing from the Sussexes on their platform.

After her highly applauded Suits performance, is Meghan Markle getting ready for her next big role?

This comes after E! News confirmed previously that the married pair has signed a multi-year deal with Netflix for an array of production genres, including docu-series, scripted series, documentaries, as well as children’s programming!

But what does that huge $100 million collaboration with the streaming platform mean for Meghan Markle and Prince Harry?

During an appearance on CNBC earlier today, Netflix co-CEO Reed Hastings sadly confirmed that Meghan has not yet considered acting in any new projects.

As it turns out, she and Harry are more focused on working behind the scenes!

‘The real focus for them is being producers and building that production capacity. That is the key thing is they have developed a great eye for story. They are smart. They were shopping it across all of the major companies and I think we put together the best, complete package. We are going to do a range of entertainment with them… I think it will be some of the most viewed content next year,’ Hastings gushed.

As for her retiring from acting when she decided to accept Harry’s proposal, Meghan explained via Sky News at the time that ‘I don’t see it as giving anything up. I just see it as a change. It’s a new chapter, right? I’ve ticked this box, and I feel very proud of the work I’ve done there, and now it’s time to work with [Harry] as a team.’
