Maura Higgins shared a sexy snap alongside several make-up free selfies in attempt to raise awareness for World Mental Health Day.
The 29-year-old former Love Island star looked sensational as sspoke to her fans about the reality behind her social media platform.
Sharing the candid snap with her 2.9 million Instagram followers, Maura’s first picture depicted the reality star in a very glammed up display.
In the snap, the brunette bombshell stripped down to a bath robe as she smoldered in front of the camera.
The reality star looked sensational as she modelled a full face of elegant makeup as well as perfectly voluminous locks.
Maura then unveiled a collection of make-up free selfies as she spoke about having bad days while urging people to be kind.
She also spoke about her own mental health struggles and how she found relief through talking to her friends. “It is so important to do whatever it takes to make YOU feel better,” she wrote.
“We all have bad days/nights but we always tend to share the best on social media. You don’t see the tears, stress, anxiety, grief etc anyone of us go through on a day to day basis so that’s why I stress BE KIND!
She added: “I want you to remember it’s completely normal to have bad days.
“It’s okay to feel sad for no reason, it’s okay to cry but it’s not ok to suffer in silence!
“I myself suffered with my mental health and the best thing I done was pick up my phone and talk, even if it’s just to a friend, it is so so important to speak out!
“It can be the most isolating feeling in the world, but the more we talk about it the more we will see that no one is alone! Maura concluded by writing: “Swipe to see just the real me & remember WE ARE ALL HUMAN & we are all in this together. Be strong…I love you all️ #worldmentalhealthday.”
Maura has been very open in the past about her mental health struggles after she shot to fame in Love Island.
Earlier this year, Maura explained that the experience had been “overwhelming”.
On social media she also admitted that she had been trolled ‘all her life’ and realised the best response was to ignore the vile criticism.
Writing on Instagram over the summer, she revealed: “I have been trolled my whole life like many people & the best thing to do is IGNORE IT!
“Those people being nasty or behind their keyboards are far from perfect too!”
