Master P Expanding His Empire — Offering The Perfect Alternative For Aunt Jemima And Uncle Ben

Master P has already become a mogul in multiple industries including the food and beverage industry. He recently unveiled a perfect alternative to Aunt Jemima and Uncle Ben products that have played off of racial stereotypes and not being Black-owned.

Master P is launching the Uncle P food line that will not only be Black-owned but also give back to the community while building an empire to last generations long.

Rice, beans, grits, pancake mix, syrup, and oatmeal are just some of the products he will be launching that people can buy since the Aunt Jemima brand will be retired.

He explained to CNN: ‘When you look at Aunt Jemima and Uncle Ben, a lot of those products are mockeries of African-American people and couldn’t even feed our communities. With Uncle P, the more we make, the more we give. And the only way to give is by owning these products.’

He went on to say how these products will work to improve the Black community.

‘Right now we’re burning down our blocks and our communities while protesting injustice, but if we are able to own products and put money back in our community, we could buy those blocks back instead of burning them down. If they made billions of dollars off Aunt Jemima and Uncle Ben, imagine how much we’ll make to give back to our own community. It’ll be us helping us without having to wait for the government. We can actually change the world.’

This comes after the rapper-turned-businessman put out new products in March but it largely went unnoticed until the reawakening of the Black Lives Matter movement.

Now, he can barely keep up with demand and is working on expanding his line to major grocery stores.

The star went on to say that he’s glad that he can add diversity to packaged foods while also making a difference.
